Experimental researcher in fluid dynamics
Experimental researcher in fluid dynamics
I am a post-doctoral research associate at the Oxford Thermofluids Insitute (OTI), University of Oxford. I have delivered experimental research on fluid dynamics in industry (Rolls-Royce and Reaction Engines), and at the universities of Oxford and Cambridge.
I work within a team lead by Professor Paul Beard that is developing novel cooling technologies for gas turbines.
My research is conducted in OTRF: a unique high-speed rotating rig that matches engine representative conditions for the high pressure turbine stage. This facility is the most advanced in its class, and our research forms an integral part of the analysis workflow at our industrial partner, Rolls-Royce.
I co-supervise two DPhil students, Rhys Williams and Adam Hu, in the development of novel cooling technologies and infra-red thermography respectively.
Can you help me?
